I thought that alot of entries would be based on fancy knifes such as army knifes, pen knifes or knifes that might be found in museums, so I went for the plain old kitchen knifes. All objects are modeled by myself and in Imagine, the textures are either scanned in and edited in photoshop (bread, knifes, breadboard), created from scratch in photoshop (tiles, jam, coffeestain), or simply coloured in imagine (margarine in tub).

I ran out of time really with this image, I really would have liked to have put lots of bread crumbs in around the board and slice of bread to add to the realism. Along with more stains on the work surface, but they will have to wait until later.

There are 66 lightsources all with softshadows but they are set to 8 in rendering settings (would have liked to do more, but im still rendering at 8:30am UK time, sat morn, i think im a bit late )

All objects and brushmaps original, and the entire scene will be uploaded online after compo for anyone to download if they want, although textures will be much smaller to save download time.
