Yes and no. The var M differs a little bit from the round function. So the pattern is not linear.

n=1..6 points +6
n=2..22 points +16
n=3..48 points +26
n=4..82 points +34
n=5..128 points +46
n=6..184 points +56
n=7..248 points +64
n=8..328 points +80
n=9..412 points +84
n=10..510 points. +98

so number of points should be <=n*10.

I found 2 errors in your code and one in the original:

with
Points[count].x := x;
Points[count].y := y;
Points[count].z := z;
if i <> N then
begin
Points[count].x := x;
Points[count].y := y;
Points[count].z := -z;
you write overwrite the first cordinates (north) with the cordinates of the south. This appears, because the o-code printet points directly to the display (so it looks like to me). The secound errror is, why should the last points of the south not written to the field but the north (same error in the original code). Another remark is: did you use one begin and end too much in the last section ?

@ Johan
N is not a undefined variable, it sets the number of segments in horizontal and vertical alignment.

A new function could be a message to the user, if someone adds a comment to one of his pictures. The list on the mainpage is too short if on a picture the discussion exceeds.

The site-design look not so bad, so i would not changed too much. More challenges sound interesting, but the timeline must bee long enough for people who don't have the time to make in the short way (like e.g. speedmodelling on some other sites).

Tested the new prog and all of the panel-lights are correct with now errors (generate 6 panels). I think a bigger user-interface would be more useable and will look a little bit more friendly.

I think it's not harder to install XP than the other version of microsoft. I made it 3 times this year for private, because of an mainboard-crash. So the best way not to loose your work is a old computer wise: save early and save often. Another tip is to use a live-linux, like knoppix, from cd to get the data on cd/dvd or another harddisk. Knoppix don't touch your hdd, but can read most of all filesystems.

Ok, i brighten it up in photopaint, and now i see it. This artifacts came often if the face-size is too smal. In the example
Open in new window

is the better one 5x bigger than the worst.

Sorry, but i can't see the artifacts on the shadow. The resolution and the jpg-compression shows not enough details. I found only a too smal facecount at the sphere and a low smooth on the render.

I remember it. I didn't used it, because it was only a "security copy" and the results are too wired. Sculpt-Animate 4D had better results at that time (for stills).
I bagan with the impulse world after the AmiExpo Cologne in 1989 with Imagine 0.99.
