Cannot get coolfun!

I've repeatedly attempted to contact www.coolfun.com, yet I'm told the URL/IP cannot be identified/cannot be resolved. I thought Impulse where still using the same link, but maybe I'm wrong, (usually am, why change the habit of a lifetime!).

Anyone have any ideas about this?

I must mention that the library comps' don't have MS Access installed correctly, and I cannot do anything about that. I'm not aware that this should cause the problem of non-resolved IP's though.

MS access not installed properly, does stop me from contacting the admin representative from the library for help though, (how convenient for them!)

Thankyou.

CIG.

The coolfun site has been down for a few years now, they initially said it wsa coming back up again but then seems to have abandoned that project along with the CUP and its members.

A few faxes, emails and phonecalls later I still havent been able to talk to Mike Haövorsen, only to Larry, who SAID he would talk to them, latest email said they were busy with the tax reports, (last year) since then not a word...

They are supposed to make their lunchmoney building slotmachines nowadays, or at least the software for them.

I have been trying to get them to release the source to Imagine for a while but I have pretty much given up on a response that actually means something from them, if any at all.

I've been using this product off and on since it was called Sculpt 3D and ran on the Amiga A500. I have a nasty feeling I have lost my discs, and that the Windows version might not like XP (we got rid of Vista, it stunk).

Any hints on how to get it running, unless it just does, would be nice, and if it turns out I have lost my discs, offers of help....

I did download, and did a quick test. All is well! I had the latest version of Imagine, when we moved house, and can't find it... Now that I finally have a decent monitor (Dell 1920 x 1200 ) I am itching to restart my strangeworld animations...

@ The_Walrus....also welcome to the only Home of Imagine3D anywhere on the inter web. Good to see you got her running..be better to see what you do with it. Do contribute to the galleries here...we have ongoing challenges that can be entered at nay time...they're just challenges...no prizes...no voting...just fun attacking a challenge and be sure to check out the textures section as there are a few at least listed that you may not have that were created by 3rd parties like: ripple.itx, diffuse.itx etc...explore and once again...welcome home.. ...

No, Imagine and Organica is NOT freeware.

I have, after many turns of emailing/faxing Impulse, decided to make them available here, I have told them at Impulse beforehand that I would do so and gotten no reply.

I know the address works since they HAVE answered other emails and have gotten the faxes we sent in, in fact if anything they might have seemed a bit peeved of the faxes that HAD arrived, obviously I am not the only one that have pestered them about Imagine and Organica.

I have mailed them and told them I will make the CUP available too, and so far haven't received any replies on that either, neither for or against it, and a simple email from them telling me to remove it or not publish WOULD stop me from doing it.

I will tell them again that they can reach me at +46 70 374 3040 or at my email which is johan at solace dot miun dot se
That address is also available via the domain info on this domain.

So, NO, Imagine and Organica is NOT freeware, but it has been publicly available here for some time, I hope no one else is publishing them somewhere else, but as the web works it is probably a fact that they already have...

The program is not more of it available for sale.

Impulse owes me for the CUP3.0 still 500.00 euros
