Hello everbody. Here is a request going out to anybody willing to help me, but especially to our Webmaster and Lahl. As you know I am working on my Enterprise project and the results of my work so far can be found here;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGSAvqDf8Ns
I am however having trouble obtaining iob files of some of the Enterprises.
Mainly the NX-01 as worked on by Lahl and the new Enterprise from the JJ Abrahams movie as worked on by our Webmaster. I have tried to to import files from lightwave and 3ds formats but all seem to fail to load or giving me messages along the lines of object not found etc. Our webmaster has told me about a program that converts different formats to one imagine can use but the only one I know of gives me loads of warnings about possible problems and issues with my pc. so I am pleading with you all can you please help me with this.
Thankyou and "Live long and prosper" ;)

the NX01 is still WIP.... retexturing it is a bitch, especially with such a complicated object and barely any decent textures, so haveing to remake a lot of the textures and placing them sux without realtime feedback that I'm used to with other programs.
Will upload whenever I get around to finishing it.
Might upload an updated pic tho

I am using imagine 2.0, is there another version? Also I am not bothered if the models are bare as textures and me ain't getting along, the enterprise NCC-1701-A I am working on doesnt have any textures as all the colour is done buy colouring the faces which is what what I planned to do with other versions just to be able to have some fun.

All the updates from 2.0 to 2.19 are available at this site...
I keep them all available since it works a bit different in different versions... not all stuff is greater in 2.19

For your purposes 2.0 is OK I think.

I will see what I can do when it comes to models, I can always upload my baked untextured enerprise, but its far from fixed as it comes to lighting and such :/

I have it at the PC at home.

Hey Colin, not sure if anyone has already suggested it or not, but for converting to IFW object format, ACCUTRANS3d is very useful!

I did take a peek at ACCUTRANS3D however I was put off downloading as it looked a bit complicated and daunting for me.
