It has been very quiet here lately, is this because noone reads here anymore...

No, I get hits on the server which are not bots, so is it because absolutely noone has anything to say on anything at all?

Or are you busy with other things? Other softwares?

Just wondering...

I check here everyday for anything new. I haven't done anything 3D for a while. still haven't finished my destroyer space ship. thinking about doing another fighter craft or maybe a space shuttle... something smaller that I could do in a short period of time. I just need to get back in the right mood and quit play dungeons and dragons online so much. how about you? done anything with that imagine code?

I've done very little imagine3d work lately.
I'm working sporadically on a simpler version of liteball that does away with the reliance on arnold files for the color data, instead using standard bitmaps.
Has nice opengl gfx working. I'm a bit stuck at the moment getting it to work with gradients so its on the backburner for the moment while i work on my crossword helper app.

johann, any chance you could look through the imagine source and find out how they calculate the intensity of a light object colour.
edit-
i mean the intensity value in the attributes/light dialog. how that value affects the light colour

FYI

This is what I get when I try to compile Imagine 2.1.8 in a modern compiler like Visual Studio Community 2013

C++ has changed a bit since Visual Studio 6
