So, this forum and site has become extremely silent lately.

Is there anyone interested in having a challenge or theme again, maybe to get the ball rolling a bit again?

We had quite a good thread on the facebook page a few weeks back and I truly enjoyed that, sadly, I have no clue how to connect fb and xoops together so that a post there is visible here :P

I'd be willing to give it a shot.
I'm not doing too good health wise, so no idea how much effort I can put in (didn't finish the last challenge). I just hope it's not just me this time and others do some renders too :)

ps: I'm not on facebook. Is that where all the discussions have gone?

Sorry to hear about your health problems, had some to...

Participation is as always hard to predict...

The facebook group has a few members only, it's not that common with discussions there either... I try to post everything here that I put there...

I go in waves myself, when I get inspired I do some stuff, then it rests... inspiration is usually by someone else posting something :)

Sometime lately my brain just stops working and I can't even remember the basics or I get stuck with huge gaps inbetween stages, and I have to refresh me menory and relearn. Its annoying.

Anyway, I've been watching Twin Peaks, back with a new season after 25 years, and I nominate a twin peaks inspired theme ;)
No idea how many others are twin peaks fans, but I'm a yrev very big fan ;)

I was a Twin Peaks fan at the time, haven't watched the new episodes as of yet, still revisiting Star Trek, soon done with them, just have a few episodes of season six and then season seven of Voyager left... then I am done for the new Discovery Series ;)

Twin Peaks as a Theme sounds cool, could lead to very different images I think...

I've not seen any of the new season, but I have all the original two seasons on BR. I would open it to all of David Lynch's work. Dune for some sci-fi, Eraserhead for some gritty monochrome film noir, Lost Highway for some unusual indoor home design, etc. And Blue Velvet for PBR cans :)

So, how much time should we allocate for this theme?

Well, the new Twin Peaks is well worth watching, but it will separate the Twin Peaks fans from the David Lynch fans. it does help to read "The Secret History of Twin Peaks" by Mark Frost before watching, but not a necessity.

Opening it up to a David Lynch theme sounds good. Maybe leave it open for a month?
