But there must still have been an Imagine Version 2.2 after the Imagine 2.19 version! Because Eagles film has always been set on Impulses Imagine3d since Amiga times. Here Eagles Film has released a demo, which was made according to their own information with the version 2.2!
The question is, why did CUP User scare us so impulses and this version despite our paid 3.0 CUP's this version never handed over? Here's the proof of Eagles-Film itself .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Dyl6UZ9iw4

I don't know about any 2.2 version, but I didn't get all the sources from Mike, I am not sure he had it all...
With Mike's passing a few years back I think theere will be problems getting anything more... /Johan

I think that this is a beta version 2.2, which has "Impulse" released as a test to Eagles-Film. You also have to know that Eagle's film had done a lot with Imagine3D. And if they themselves write that they have made the clip with Imagine 2.2 ... then I assume that's true
![]() I only wonder that version 2.2 had never appeared in the 3.0 CUP ![]()

There was a lot of things in the CUP that went wrong...
We were going to get that one interface in OpenGL with all the tools in one editor, a bit like Blender works today I guess... but I guess Zak or other coders if there was any, was more coding what they wanted to code, hence we ended up with a lot of things not ment to be there in the first draft... so, goalpost moved during development... a common problem... I guess the money and will ran out?

Well, you could already see from version 2.15 that something is going wrong here. The mistakes became more and more ... then they were repaired version 2.16 and at the same time new mistakes were built in again. And those were all things that worked well for years in all Amiga versions.
I think the impulse programmers had problems with the Windows translation ... and maybe even Freelanzer with programmed. It is always called "many cooks spoil the food"

Sadly, I got the 2.19 source, no git or anything looking like any kind of versioning... someone might have it, but i only got one version from Mike, and that was marked 2.19 in the source...
Heavy use of MFC and a great love of C++ way of spreading objects around makes it hard to get in to. Organica source is similiar in style...

Well, you can't change that fact.

I wonder if it is worth contacting Eagle Films. If IFW v2.2 truly exists, maybe they still have the files, and would be willing to share it here?
I might try emailing them...what do you think?

I've already thought of that. After all, Imagine is freeware today ... and they could make the version available to the community. But I'm still surprised that only Eagle's Film is in the possession of the version.

I got Philip Cook's email address from his youtube channel...I think I will send him an email and ask him about it.
Who knows, maybe it's a mistake and its not v2.2...but maybe it is!
