Looking around the site, at objects, files, and pictures, it lists platform, and some mention IFW. What does that stand for?

Hi, thanks. You confirmed my suspicions.

What in particular, are the major differences between the Amiga and Win Imagines, that restrict .obj for example to a win platform?

Trolling, nah. I just have Amiga on the brain. Windows is that *thing* to tolerate at the office.

I must say, i'm really impressed with some of the pictures people have produced with the program. That little Budda statue was amazing!

Lahl is in a class all of her own
A lot of people have made wonderful things with the software, but I think Lahl has to be one of the ones that really knows how it all hangs together technically combined with an artisan feel to it all.

*big blush*
(youre embarasing me)

Naahh..... Lahl is just a clueless little girl that occasionly 'gets' lucky' by throwing together something that seems to actually work..... only way she ever 'gets lucky'

But seriously..... have a look at my website. Lots of stuff to see there, and that buddha pic was a quick multipass render to illustrate the technique in one of my tutorials. Couldn't have taken more than 30 mins to do. But thought it turned out good enough to post on its own.

If you want to see the tutorial, go here ----> Multipass Rendering - Part 2 <----

From there you can check out the rest of my tutorials and website

Enjoy

Lahl

I wish i had your luck then

Knowledge of how stuff works is good.
The artisan feeling is good.

When they combine, then great work gets created

I know how stuff work, mostly... sometimes i have misunderstood stuff and I dont mind being corrected...

But I have never really been an artist, i am a tech at heart
I do know what I like though and even if some of your stuff is scary, it is ALWAYS artistic and very well done.

We have others that have the eye here to
I do NOT count me among them, but I can run a website, and that I do

Hi Lahl.

I hope to have the time to go through your tutorials, if I can make pictures like that.

Hopefully I'll be able to find an Amiga1200 or get my current one working, so I can get a decent number of colors to work with.
