Happy Midsummers Eve to you all

I hope to have some good news, but for now it will have to wait... I hope you all will enjoy the evening which in Sweden is a big event and everyone is off from work...

I know the _real_ midsummers eve is a day or two away, but in Sweden they have "standardized it" to the closest weekend :)

It's that time of the year again. Guess that explains the soda shortage at the store I noticed the other day.

An a happy one to you there in Scandinavia as well. We are even happy here in Arizona USA! We have had the coolest (temperature wise) June this year since 1913. Only two triple digit days so far this month! (Triple digit=100 degrees F plus) people are driving with their car windows down and stuff. It is amazing. Nineteen years ago today, it was 122F. They had to close the airport in Phoenix since the aircraft were not flight rated at those temperatures.

If this is climate change then bring it on!

All of my computers are packed away while both my office and apartment are in the process of moving. Otherwise, I'd have been working on the steam engine animation. Pretty busy otherwise.

I don't have a computer at the moment, except my work MacBook Pro, which is an excellent computer, but I wont render on it, work only :)

I am in the process of building a new one and are just figuring out if my budget is enough for an i7 based one or if I need to be a bit cheaper..

I would love to go for the i7 (920) one since I would very much like to have that in my upcoming programming environment :) More on that later.

True multithreading and quickstep would be nice for my project...
