Asteroid Habitat
Greetings! Here are a few frames from my most recent short-video project, continuing on the theme of space habitats.

Here's the video.

All modelling and rendering done in IFW 2.19 (... and that's another story!) with just a smidgen of post production FX.

Thought you folks might be interested

...oh and a quick thanks to Lahl, who's Earth model provided some much needed insight into how to build a nice looking planet

Interesting subject and nice looking video.
Flow is nice and the "one shot" idea is cool.

 Re: Asteroid Habitat
glad to have helped with the planet construction.

The animation looks good, lots of detail. My only issue would be the lens is a little too wide, a smaller angled lens would help with making it look more realistic, although I understand wanting to see so much of the environment in each frame.

It also seemed to move a little slow in some areas, and a little fast in other areas. Perhaps if you lower the lens angle, speed up the slow parts, it will leave a little more time to 'look around' with the smaller lens.

Yep, I see what you mean...thanks for the tip.
In trying to get that "cinematic" feel I was a bit heavy-handed with the wide-angle lens. Come to think of it, a narrower lens would probably reduce rendering time too, right? Hey that sounds like a win-win!
