That painting has a warm, whimsy fantasy look, but one cannot help but imagine the next scene! You have a wicked sense of humour and a deft hand with the brush; very nice.
How did you arrive at the dragons colour? I have a three-foot dragon model I modified and spent months trying to find a colour scheme for it; from reds to browns, greens, etc. It even spent a few months with a matt black body and red wing membranes when I had modeller’s block! I finished it eventually and its now black and tan with a blue and bronze head crest.
