Impact of a Protoplanet - Rendered with Imagine 2.19
This scene is very easy to shape.

For the impact point, simply take a torus and use the volumetric emission function. I chose only a little yellow for the torus and set the emission intensity to 2000. As a result, the impact point is very bright and runs out very soft to the outside. Then you set the noise settings as you would like them ... and the scene is done.

The scene can now also be animated very easily and very realistically. But that's why I'll take care of it later.

By the way .. I did not need 10 minutes from the idea to the finished picture

Thank you Johan :) If you experiment a bit with the volumetric settings for the object "Blue Volumen" under "Noise2", you can get very realistic results.

Please set the "Star Density" under "Stars / Fog" to approx. 0,05 for the background. This makes it even more realistic. ;)
