Cosmic Nebula
The project can be downloaded here in the forum: http://www.imagine3d.org/modules/wfdo ... glefile.php?cid=1&lid=360

If you've always wanted to create really good Space Nebula with Imagine, I have good news for you :)) He can do it now. Just download my example project and take a close look at my 2 grouped objects of the scene.

I just experimented a bit with Blender 3D Version 2.8 with the new Nebula Editor, and then I remembered that Imagine had a fractal noise texture (fnoise.itx) by Ingvar Lybing, which you can use within the texture as well Clipping and perfect adjustment of the contrast. Thus, you can give the fog exactly like in Blender also Edges sharpness, which unfortunately does not work with the Volumetriks in Imagine, as soon as you have given the Volumetriks a depth. Then I combined texture pastella.itx with Fnoise.itx for the color ramp - and I was able to produce almost the same results as in Blender in Imagine.

Actually, I only came up with the idea, because Blender controls these nebulae via the Nodes editor over many layers and only in this way gets into the nebula an edge structure.

So my little sample project should serve only as a suggestion. Surely Blender uses the tool loose 20 layers ... I limited my test in Imagine only 4 layers.

Incidentally, the fog structure is animated via the Y axis with fnoise.itx. For this you have to create a 2nd state for all 4 layers.
