An old tin can with spider webs.
An old tin can with spider webs. The spider webs can be easily realized with filter brushes. To create the spatial 3D effect on the spider webs, you first have to tack the brush onto a high resolution 3D lattice with a state and then you just have to deform the 3D grid with the magnetism function. In this way you can also create wafting spider webs in an animation.

By the way: this technique is also used in Blender and 3D Studio Max or Maya

If any of you are interested, I can indeed upload the project here.
